How to study the Bible like never before!
Share
Are you ready to discover a fresh approach to studying the Bible with verse mapping? Back in 2001, I began verse mapping, and it radically changed my relationship with the Lord. It’s not just about studying Scripture—it’s about diving deep into God’s Word, exploring different translations, and understanding the meaning behind each word on the page. This practice has helped me grasp Scripture more fully and apply it to my life in meaningful ways.
What is verse mapping?
Verse mapping is simply studying God’s word! We research and study every part of Scripture. We study different translations and the meaning of the words used. Breaking it down so we fully understand the meaning and can apply it to our lives.
It doesn’t matter how much you know about the bible, so don’t let that stop you! That’s why we verse map: to learn and know the Word of God.
Verse mapping is highly personalized. There’s no one-size-fits-all method. Whether you prefer using washi tape, colorful pens, or simply breaking down verses in your journal, the key is finding what resonates with you. Don’t worry about following trends or comparing yourself to others. What matters most is finding a style that helps you connect with Scripture consistently.
To help you get started, I’ve created a Verse Mapping 101 worksheet that you can download for free. Scroll to the bottom of this page and enter your email, and it will be sent to you. And remember, there’s no right or wrong way to verse map. Let God lead you as you embark on this journey of deeper understanding and spiritual growth.
