Joy Verse Mapping/ Scripture Writing Plan

Have you ever had one of those days when joy feels just out of reach? You know the kind—your to-do list seems never-ending, your patience is wearing thin, and life just feels... heavy.
If you've been there, you're not alone. We've all experienced seasons when it's difficult to find joy. The beautiful truth is that our joy isn't based on our circumstances—it's found in Christ.
Why Scripture Writing?
Scripture writing is a simple yet powerful way to slow down, spend time with God, and allow His Word to transform your heart. As you carefully write each verse, you're not just reading Scripture—you're meditating on it, hiding it in your heart, and giving the Holy Spirit space to encourage and renew you.
Joy is much more than a fleeting feeling. It is a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), a source of strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and a gift from God that remains even when life is difficult.
Let Joy Take Root
Joy doesn't always arrive with excitement or celebration. Sometimes it grows quietly during your morning quiet time, while you're reading your Bible, praying, or writing God's Word one verse at a time.
As you fill your heart with Scripture, your focus slowly shifts away from your circumstances and back to God's faithfulness. His promises remind us that He is near, He is good, and He is always at work—even when we can't see it.
If you've been feeling weary, discouraged, or simply in need of hope, I encourage you to pick up your Bible and begin writing. God's Word is living and active, and He often meets us in those quiet moments with the peace and joy our hearts have been longing for.
